The Jelani and Jade Parent Foundation was established after a tragic tragedy surrounding two young precious angels in 2013 in Central Virginia. Jelani was two and half years old just three months shy of his third birthday and Jade his sister was two months old when they were left alone in a car; while their mother who was dealing with severe depression went to work.

The foundation theme is “NO CHILD LEFT ALONE”. With foundation donations and volunteers, our goal is to provide child care assistance to parents, provide parental training, parental counseling and serve as a support group for parents. We will accomplish these goals by partnering with various community organizations and community leaders. With the constant on-going tragedies of children left alone due to parents inabilities to care for their children; this foundation will provide some relief. Under age children left alone is a growing epidemic in America and it affects all cultures and backgrounds.

Jelani and Jade will live through this foundation as Jade’s organs live on in others. It is our passion to ensure that we assist parents with the resources and tools they need to parent their children. We will alleviate some of the everyday stresses associated with parenting. One of our goals is to help provide a healthy environment for children to flourish and provide resources for parents to flourish as well.

We can only accomplish these goals one parent at a time but if we can assist that parent in a timely manner perhaps precious lives can be saved. Thank you for helping us keep Jelani’s and Jade’s legacy alive by promoting “NO CHILD LEFT ALONE”.
